The Backline's lower outer compartment features six modular partitions to keep all your cables neat and accessible. No more digging through a suitcase to find that TRS cable or IEC.

String changes and setup tools

The 8-inch x 11-inch accessory compartment gives you three 5-inch pockets for packs of guitar strings, a full-width pouch for bass strings and essentials, and several slim upright pockets that are perfect for screwdrivers, hex keys, clippers, capos — even a Sharpie or two for the merch table.

Pedals, DIs, and power strips

The Backline's 5.5-inch x 13-inch head pack handily fits 3–5 of your favorite effect and tuner stomps. Lifting the shelf reveals another modular-partition storage area that's great for DI boxes, power strips, and more.

Amp and vocal microphones

Whether you're a coffee shop singer/songwriter or you've got an extra-special amp mic you just can't gig without, the Backline GTP has you covered for mic storage. On the interior side of the 8-inch x 11-inch upper compartment you'll find three 3.5-inch sleeves for keeping your stage mics safe and secure. You also get a full-width inner pouch for keeping a wireless handheld or a couple of in-line mic pres safe on hand.

Mic and tripod stands

That's right — the Backline even has storage for your mic stands and camera tripods. Heavy-duty side buckles allow you to lock in and cinch up your favorite stage stands for secure on-the-go pack-ins.

Liquid refreshment

Two "saddlebag" 7.5-inch x 12.5-inch outer pouches make the perfect holsters for water and pop bottles. Bonus: a bottle opener on the left strap means you can crack open a cold one on your walk out to the car.

Let's say you run backing tracks from your laptop and virtual instruments from your iPad. Maybe you've even got a dedicated tablet for communicating with a wireless mixer. The Backline GTP still lets you load in on the same trip. A 12-inch x 20-inch security pocket, which faces inward as you wear it for theft prevention, features a custom sleeve for a large laptop (up to 15 inches) and two accessory sleeves to hold common sizes of tablets. Not only does the inward-facing sleeve keep your gear secure, but it keeps it stable as well, distributing weight close to the body for greater stability and ergonomics.
